Interstate Transfer (Langkawi to Selangor)

Discreet Interstate Transfer of Intoxicated (Substance Abuse) Aggressive Individual (Non-Malaysian) from Langkawi Hotel to EICF Centre, Selangor.

This case required meticulous coordination due to its complexity. The individual, a foreign national, was in a psychotic state and intoxicated with substance. Adding to the challenge, the person was staying in a five-star hotel in Langkawi, making the extraction process particularly delicate. The team had to carefully plan the pickup to avoid causing a scene in public, ensuring the operation was carried out discreetly and swiftly.

The transfer process began with four experts traveling from Selangor to Langkawi on short notice. Once at the hotel, they had to navigate logistical and security concerns while keeping the situation under control. The individual was first transported to Kedah before being transferred via ambulance—accompanied by the four experts—to Eve Psychosocial Rehabilitation’s acute care facility for detox and stabilization. Due to the individual’s aggressive and unmanageable state, sedation was necessary to ensure the safety of both the person mentioned and the medical team.

The transition was planned under immense time constraints, requiring quick decision-making and precise execution. Despite the difficulties, the team successfully transferred the individual without incident, ensuring their safety throughout the journey.
